DOUG DAVIDSON

MARKET EXECUTIVE, BANK OF AMERICA, TAMPA

Davidson has led Bank of America’s Global Commercial Banking in Tampa for 20 years. The division offers treasury, lending, leasing, advisory and debt and equity underwriting services to companies with revenue of $50 million to $2 billion. Davidson has been involved with the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Chamber Foundation and led three cornerstone research projects related to Florida’s critical needs in infrastructure, transportation and logistics.

FIRST JOB: Walt Disney World allowed me to spend a summer as Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier!

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I am an avid butterfly gardener and have dedicated a large portion of my home’s landscaping to native Florida plants. This garden has yielded hundreds of Monarchs, Sulphurs, Gulf Fritillaries, Eastern Black Swallowtails and even Zebra Longwing butterflies (Florida’s State Butterfly!).
