Frank X. Dalton

Founding Partner, Fulcrum Equity Partners, St. Petersburg

Dalton has been with Atlanta-based Fulcrum since its founding in 2005 and has been an active investor in Florida since moving to St. Petersburg in 2011. Fulcrum is a growth equity firm with more than $900 million under management. It provides capital and hands-on support to entrepreneurs and founders in the health care service and B2B tech arenas. Dalton’s recent Florida investments include Orlando unicorn Stax, Feathr and Digital Hands — startups he says have created hundreds of jobs for the Florida economy. Dalton supports the Florida Venture Forum, Endeavor Miami, Tampa Bay Wave, the Tampa Bay Innovation Center and other entrepreneurial ecosystems. Fulcrum is active in supporting various diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as numerous nonprofits, including CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) and Tampa Bay Watch, which works to keep the bay clean and sustainable.
