Beth Cicchetti
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FLORIDA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, TALLAHASSEE
For 60 years, the FEDC has been a professional association of public and private economic, workforce and community development professionals. Cicchetti has been executive director since 2015. She has influenced site-readiness efforts along I-10 resulting in the Gulf to Gadsden Freight Logistics Zone, a four-county initiative aligning air, sea, rail and interstate infrastructure serving over 1,000 acres of qualified industrial sites and two greenfield developments with an annual economic impact over $10 million. She was also instrumental in finding a solution for Amazon’s quest to establish a Robotic Sorting Center in the Tallahassee MSA resulting in 1,400 jobs in the first year of operations.
