The Pasco Economic Development Council helps businesses that seek to start, move or grow in the county. Since 1987, the organization has fostered a strong partnership with corporate and public investors focused on the economic vitality of Pasco County. Cronin has been president/CEO for eight years, leading a team of 14.
EDUCATION: Michigan State University (BS)
IF I WERE GOVERNOR: I would create better alignment between our schools and our employers and expand apprenticeship programs to allow older students to spend part of their day on the job or in a co-op scenario.
INSPIRING FLORIDIAN: I was fortunate to have worked former Gov. Jeb Bush and have seen his integrity in difficult times and his willingness to voice dissent from the mainstream view … I saw his dedication to education and a true hear for others and willingness to roll up his sleeves or even take off his shirt to work alongside others to get things done.
