IF I WERE GOVERNOR: I would work on policies that would enhance the opportunities for businesses in Florida to engage with each other. Florida is a huge state with a diverse and dynamic economy. By leveraging the supply chain that Florida has to offer, we could create significant economic gains.
INSPIRATIONAL FLORIDIAN: Mark Wilson, president and CEO of the Florida Chamber. I have always admired Mark’s dedication to the state of Florida. I love that he stands for what is best for the state even if it’s a tough conversation.
WHAT I’VE LEARNED: I think the biggest lesson I learned early on was from my dad: You build a house one brick at a time. You move a pile of rock one shovel at a time. You solve a problem by making one decision at a time. And you bring this all together through patience, determination, and working hard everyday so you can never say, ‘What if I had just!’
