REEVES VALENTINE
VICE PRESIDENT, LAND AND MARITIME SOLUTIONS, LOCKHEED MARTIN, ORLANDO
Valentine is the vice president of Lockheed Martin’s division that develops advanced technologies for U.S. forces and their allies at its Orlando operations. The division employs 8,000 and has been a major economic force in Florida for 60 years. Valentine served as an officer in the U.S. Army as a Black Hawk helicopter aviator. He was stationed in South Korea, Iraq and at bases in the United States. Valentine accumulated 1,000 flight hours, including 200 combat hours. He was awarded the Combat Air Medal and Bronze Star Medal during his service in Iraq. Gov. Ron DeSantis named Valentine to the Florida Defense Support Task Force in 2022. The task force’s mission is to “preserve, protect and enhance Florida’s military missions and installations.” Valentine serves as an executive champion for the Lockheed Martin Military Veterans Business Resource Group, which supports veterans and those transitioning from military service to the workforce. He is also a spokesperson and volunteer for Home for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured veterans.
