Wilson focuses on the health care industry and merger and acquisition transactions and other matters requiring industry and regulatory expertise. His clients include some of the largest names in health care and he’s closed deals worth nearly $6 billion over the last three years. He’s held leadership posts with the Health Foundation, Red Cross, Make-A-Wish and the Florida Bar.

IF I WERE GOVERNOR: My priority would be the opportunity and affordability crises, with a focus on longer-term Florida residents of all ages, but in particular those under the age of 35. As a parent, I am concerned that younger long-term Floridians may no longer have a viable economic future in this state.

MENTOR: My parents. They served as an example that education, hard work, integrity, self-confidence and a sense of caring for others along the way can be a pathway for success in life — be it at a personal, professional or business level. I did not grow up with money. But they gave me so much more. I owe them a lot.
