BARBARA FERNANDEZ

PARTNER-IN-CHARGE, HINSHAW & CULBERTSON, CORAL GABLES & MIAMI

Fernandez is the partner-in-charge of Hinshaw's Miami office, the first woman to hold the position since Hinshaw opened the office in 1988. Her career at Hinshaw spans 24 years, and she supervises approximately 90 attorneys and staff. While managing a successful consumer and class action litigation practice, she's the office mentor coordinator in Miami, where she leads the mentor program and serves as an advisor for young attorneys in challenging situations.

GIVING BACK: As an active member of the Miami-Dade chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the National Association of Women Lawyers, I have dedicated a significant amount of time to supporting the development of women lawyers. I am a frequent speaker and panelist at events for both of these organizations.
