Gunster is a full-service law firm operating in Florida that focuses primarily on the needs of business clients. Founded in 1925, Gunster now employs more than 330 attorneys and supports more than 500 civic and community organizations, financially and through the work of its attorneys. Tanner was president of The Florida Bar in 2021-22, leading an effort emphasizing professionalism in the practice of law. It resulted in an order by the Florida Supreme Court in July 2023 that requires all Florida attorneys to receive professionalism training through a new course prepared by The Florida Bar.
