Polsinelli is an Am Law 100 law firm with more than 1,200 attorneys in 25 offices throughout the U.S. The firm currently has over 2,000 employees. Wilson, a healthcare regulatory attorney with a business and finance background, has led the Miami office for more than seven years. He is past chair of the Health Foundation of South Florida and held leadership positions with the American Red Cross and Make-A-Wish. He's also served as chair of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and has served on and led numerous other Bar committees.

NEXT BIG FOCUS: Professionally, undertaking more complex and meaningful projects. I currently have several significant long-term health care projects in various stages of development. Personally, just continue to focus on family.

DAILY RITUAL: Morning coffee with my wife, some sort of physical activity every day, tackling at least one substantive legal matter and one necessary administrative task at work every day, regularly connecting with family and making time to do something I personally enjoy on a regular, almost daily basis.

NOTABLE TRENDS: For the legal industry, generally, that would be AI, the merger/consolidation of law firms, and continued private equity investment into the law firm environment — which, interestingly enough, provides a countervailing alternative to the current consolidation trend.

IN MY DOWNTIME: I really enjoy the challenge of fixing things — anything. All I need are the right tools and a good YouTube video.

FOOD FIX: For me, nothing beats good seafood.

giving back: I was actively involved with the Health Foundation of South Florida for more than a decade. So, I am a little biased. But, I was fortunate enough to witness firsthand the exponential power of thought leadership combined with strategy and appropriate funding. The comprehensive impact the foundation has had on the health and well-being of South Florida residents and the ability to bring the various (and sometimes competitive) stakeholders together to address community needs has always impressed me.
