Pathman has chaired the City of Miami Climate Resilience Committee and created the first public forums through the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce to bring issues related to sea level rise and its economic impact on South Florida to the forefront for government, developers and residents.
EDUCATION: University of South Florida (BS),
Florida State University (JD)
FIRST JOB: I worked for my father’s sporting goods company.
DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I would try to ensure that future generations work to retain resilient and sustainable cities for the benefit of the entire planet. We do have a lot of problems all over the world and we’re seeing it every day with flooding, famine and everything else. These are all solvable problems.
SOMETHING SURPRISING: I’m an avid collector of rare sports memorabilia.
PASSION PROJECT: I like volunteering — when I travel, like when I’ve gone to Africa, I try to fit somewhere in that vacation some volunteer work with exotic animals.
