Pathman has chaired the city of Miami's Climate Resilience Committee and created the first public forums through the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce to bring issues related to sea level rise and its economic impact on South Florida to the forefront for government, developers and residents. He practices law throughout Florida, specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions, representing developers of apartment buildings, shopping centers, hotels and historic properties. His firm also focuses on land use, zoning, banking and environmental law, commercial and complex litigation and water law. Pathman has been the law firm's managing partner for a quarter-century.

IN MY DOWNTIME: I like volunteering — when I travel, like when I've gone to Africa, I try to fit somewhere in that vacation some volunteer work with exotic animals.
