CO-CEO AND CO-FOUNDER, SUN CAPITAL PARTNERS, BOCA RATON

Leder co-founded Sun Capital Partners, a global private equity firm, with Rodger Krouse, whom he met when they were students at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Both took jobs at Lehman Bros., rose in the company and decided to open their own firm. They moved from New York City to Boca Raton to open Sun Capital with the idea of investing in distressed companies in the Southeast. They’ve built it into a global private equity firm that, since 1995, has invested in more than 540 companies worldwide with revenue in excess of $50 billion across a broad range of industries. The firm’s Sun Capital Partners Foundation has donated more than $17 million to more than 700 charities.
