STEVE RANEY
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, RAYMOND JAMES BANK, ST. PETERSBURG
Raney oversees the banking segment of Raymond James Financial, serving as executive chairman of the bank and on the board of TriState Capital Bank, both wholly owned subsidiaries of Raymond James. He’s one of 13 members on the Raymond James Financial Executive Leadership Team and serves on the Raymond James Trust board. He joined the bank in 2006 as CEO after 17 years at Bank of America. A Tampa native, he earned his bachelor’s in finance from the University of Florida and a UF MBA. He’s a past chair of the Tampa Bay History Center and serves on the board of “Starting Right, Now,” a program for homeless high school students in Tampa Bay, and on the board of Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation. He represents Raymond James on the Florida Council of 100.
