Gordon, a fifth-generation Floridian, oversees about 75 attorneys and staff who donate pro bono work for Legal Aid Service of Broward County and the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition. “As a labor and employment litigator, I represent clients in a variety of areas including airlines, auto dealers, cruise lines, schools and small businesses,” he says. EDUCATION: Florida State University (BA), St. Thomas University (JD)
FIRST JOB: After starting law school, my first job was a law clerk at the Department of Homeland Security.
DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Ever since studying international affairs and politics in college, I have had an interest in the foreign service. Between undergrad and law school, I taught English in Tanzania, which further sparked my interest in an alternative career in the foreign service or the Peace Corp.
