INDUSTRY TREND: The AI wave is now being felt throughout the industry. More and more attorneys are integrating AI into their practice (billing, basic drafting, scheduling, accounting). ... This is largely being driven by clients who expect efficiencies and that their attorneys understand how AI affects them.

NEXT GEN ADVICE: Do the work. There are many shortcuts, including AI, but nothing beats the skills gained through repetition. Trial and error. When your client counts on you to give your best advice, it will come down to your experiences and knowledge gained therefrom. Also, be polite.
