JUAN ENJAMIO
PARTNER, HUNTON ANDREWS KURTH LLP, MIAMI
Hunton is a 120-year-old global firm known for its expertise in energy, financial services, real estate, retail and technology. Enjamio has led the Miami office since 2012 and is one of its founding partners. He’s supported the Leadership Learning Center at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Little Havana for years, including serving on its board. The center provides after-school classes to low-income students, helping them succeed academically while building skills and character. Enjamio participated in the program in the ’70s. “It helped me immensely, and I’m proud to see it continue empowering young students from immigrant families,” he says.
EDUCATION: University of Florida (BS), University of Miami (JD)
DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I would teach civics or its equivalent at a high school or at a college.
PASSION PROJECT: I love mentoring first-generation law students who have never had role models or mentors in the profession. I enjoy organizing and participating in mentoring events where the students receive advice and encouragement to continue pursuing the profession they have chosen.
