Gerber has been co-managing shareholder of the West Palm Beach office since 2014 and co-chair of the firm’s Securities Litigation Practice since 2017. “A large part of being a law firm leader means helping other attorneys develop in their careers,” Gerber says.

FIRST JOB: I grew up as the only child of a single mom who worked in advertising sales, and if I wanted spending money, I had to earn it. When I was 12, I washed dogs at a veterinarian’s office. In high school, I was always juggling multiple jobs, including stints as a department store salesclerk, summer camp counselor and law firm runner.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: For nearly 30 years, I’ve been part of a tight-knit women’s Mahjong group. Our shared love of the Chinese tile-based game led us to forge a bond that has also strengthened from raising our kids together and going to the same temple in Palm Beach Gardens.
