Founded by Karsenti in 2008, 13th Floor Investments has acquired, developed and managed more than $4 billion in real estate from distressed commercial real estate assets to housing. More recently, the company has been focused on mixed-use residential developments and homebuilding through its 13th Floor Homes business. Prior to establishing 13th Floor, Karsenti founded Collegeboxes, a college-based shipping and storage company, which was later acquired by U-Haul. He is a member of the Young President’s Organization and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Temple Beth Am.
