ANGELO BIANCO
MANAGING PARTNER, CP GROUP, BOCA RATON
CP Group is a commercial real estate firm that has been investing, operating and developing properties across the Sunbelt since 1986. It’s Florida’s largest office landlord. Bianco joined the organization in 2001 as a senior vice president, becoming managing partner in 2017. With nearly 300 team members, the company has acquired more than 180 assets totaling 64 million square feet. “Revitalizing outdated projects like Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) has allowed me to contribute to a broader shift in adaptive repurposing of functionally obsolete properties,” he says. “We have invested over $100 million to transform the long-abandoned former IBM campus into a modern, vibrant place to work, live, shop and gather.”
EDUCATION: George Washington University (BS), University of Virginia (JD)
FIRST JOB: Dishwasher at an Italian restaurant
SOMETHING SURPRISING: I am a serial hobbyist. Each year I choose a new hobby with the goal of becoming mildly proficient. This includes creating objects with 3D printers, sewing, welding, miniature painting, trigonometry and Python and Linux programming. This year, I have been teaching myself Spanish.
INDUSTRY TREND: The most notable trend in any industry right now is AI, though it is not a replacement for experience. From automating operations to refining underwriting and forecasting, AI enables us to enhance how we analyze risk, serve tenants, and design spaces. The firms that embrace AI thoughtfully will lead the next era of our industry.
