Merrimac Ventures is a Fort Lauderdale-based real estate firm that owns and operates hotels, condos, retail and rental apartments throughout the U.S. with a primary focus on Florida. Motwani is also founder and managing partner of Ramesh Properties, a distressed real estate investment fund focused on investments in South Florida. He is currently involved with more than $1 billion in real estate development projects. Motwani serves on the board of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, Broward College Foundation, Community Foundation of Broward, Orange Bowl Host Committee and the Crockett Foundation. Once a White House intern, Motwani worked at Credit Suisse in New York City before joining his family’s real estate business.
