Fay, who had severe dyslexia as a child, says he knew he wanted to be in real estate since he was 13 years old. He started in the business at 20 and has completed more than $16 billion in transactions. “I pride myself on extraordinary relationship-building,” he says. He is involved in the Florida Council of 100, the Orange Bowl Committee, HistoryMiami and the McGlannan Foundation, which focuses on assisting children with dyslexia, and is a St. Thomas University trustee.
