EDUCATION: Williams Business College, Miami

FIRST JOB: WBTV in Charlotte, N.C. hired me as assistant to the marketing director. There were many fun and challenging “side events” when you work for a TV station. Some examples were when they needed you to stand in for a show, and ready or not you would be tapped and given the opportunity to meet and greet the stars who made personal appearances on TV, and even leading an adorable chimpanzee on the stage when he was the mascot for a TV series.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Modern art appeals the most to me, and expressing myself through painting would be very rewarding.

HOBBY: Growing orchids would be very special since my mother grew orchids.

NONPROFIT PASSION: Blessing in a Backpack, or any organization that contributes to feeding children is very important to me. The thought that the only good meal a child may get is during the five days of school, and then he or she does not eat on the weekends, breaks my heart. Also, RXART, a remarkable organization that secures original art for hospitals’ children’s wards.

INDUSTRY TREND: The most notable trend we see is that successful real estate professionals are availing themselves of all pertinent industry information to include the application of new regulations and required documentation. They are showing both flexibility and adaptability, realizing that the ability to comprehend changing requirements and adapt to them is critical.
