CEO & CHAIRMAN, ICI HOMES, DAYTONA BEACH
ICI develops master-planned communities in four major Florida markets and is one of the larger private home builders in the state. Hosseini, who founded ICI Homes in 1980, said he began “dabbling” in real estate and home building while he was an MBA student at Embry-Riddle. “The success of my home building and land development operations evolved into successes in title companies, lumber and utility companies and real estate brokerages,” he says. Hosseini has served as chairman of the Volusia County hospital board and chair of the Board of Governors of Florida’s University System. He presently serves as chair of the boards of the University of Florida and Embry-Riddle.
