The Soffer family has deep roots in South Florida and particularly in the community of Aventura, which was first developed by Jackie Soffer’s father, Donald Soffer. Jackie and her brother, Jeffrey Soffer, are prominent members of South Florida’s real estate industry. Jackie oversees Turnberry Associates’ retail, hospitality and office divisions, including the Aventura Mall, which is visited by more than 30 million shoppers each year. Turnberry’s portfolio includes an 800-key hotel connected to the Miami Beach Convention Center that’s being developed in partnership with the Terra Group, and the company is collaborating with LeFrak to develop SoLé Mia, a 184-acre mixed-use project in North Miami. Jackie Soffer is married to Miami Design District creator Craig Robins.
