Melo heads the South Florida real estate company that has produced more than 6,000 workforce housing units, 2,000 luxury condominiums and has more than 4,000 other units in the works in the highly competitive Miami and South Florida markets. The firm directly or indirectly employs more than 700 with the majority living within or near the company’s signature developments. Established more than 75 years ago, the Melo Group relocated from Buenos Aires to Miami in 2001. Melo steered the young U.S. company through the tumultuous 2008 financial meltdown and has since led the Melo Group to national and international prominence and success.
